in everyday life.

A
reflection, written in 2004...

to be one of the most successful films of all time.

will be enthralled by the menace of Doctor Octopus, the heroics
of Spider-Man and touched by the love story between Spider-Man’s
alter ego Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson.
Who
would have believed that three guys named Stan, Steve and John could
have created all this quality? Writer
Stan Lee and artists Steve Ditko and John Romita Sr invented and
defined the early comic book adventures of Spider-Man for Marvel
Comics and these concepts are still fresh today.

Capped
with madcap action you must give this series a try.
Amazing
Spider-Man is the continuation of the original comic book title with all
it’s rich history but isn’t bogged down with it and you don’t
have to know anything to jump in and enjoy the story.
Written
by J M Straczynski (who wrote sci-fi TV show Babylon 5) with art by John
Romita Jr (son of above mentioned 'Jazzy' John Romita) and Mike Deodato,
these are deep stories with plenty of action. High adventure all the way!
Spectacular
Spider-Man is also set in the original Marvel Universe and is an
alternate take on the character written by Paul Jenkins and drawn
in a manga-esque style by Humberto Ramos.
Focusing
a bit more on the man behind the mask, Peter Parker.
Marvel
Knights Spider-Man is a bit more gritty compared to the above three
titles.
It
has a distinctly harder, more mature edge to it’s stories
and is a little brutal at times but is still Spider-Man at his wise-cracking
best. It's
written by Mark Millar and drawn by Terry Dodson.
Marvel
Adventures Spider-Man is aimed at younger audiences and are mostly
retelling the classic stories of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko with new
writers and artists at the helm.
