This is another take on Alice in Wonderland and directed by Guillermo Del Toro.

A young girl called orphelia must perform three tasks to get to a magic kingdom.

Guided by a Faun named Pan this film has a dark edge to it.

The world she discovers is populated by many fantastical creatures and the effects I've seen look quite menacing.

Someone once said 'fairy tales work best when they are dark.' and Del Toro seems to have certainly taken this on board.

Well known for his dark fantasy tales he's previously directed Hellboy and Blade 2 so I know this will be an interesting watch.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I borrowed this from a mate and I was blown away.

Keep an eye open for this one, it's destined to be a sleeper hit!

Fearless

Billed as Jet Li's last martial arts film I sincerely hope it's not because he is one of it's finest ambassadors.

Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg co-star in this cool extravaganza.

At last, a film that live up to the hype!

The New World

A great story, fantastic Sci-fi backdrop and some of the greatest CGI special effects of its time.

It still holds up well and I my opinion is one of Jean Claude Van Damme's finest films.

Shaolin Soccer

I first saw this film with no Englsih subtitles, told in spoken Mandarin Chinese. The story was still strong enough to follow and enjoy.
