by a Faun named Pan this film has a dark edge to it.
The
world she discovers is populated by many fantastical creatures and
the effects I've seen look quite menacing.
Someone
once said 'fairy tales work best when they are dark.' and Del Toro
seems to have certainly taken this on board.
Well
known for his dark fantasy tales he's previously directed Hellboy
and Blade 2 so I know this will be an interesting watch. |

is brutal in places but overall, quite the spectacle.
The
cinematography was gorgeous and quite mystical. The attention to
detail of the costumes was great to see too.

not for the faint of heart but is worth seeing.

he is one of it's finest ambassadors.
Set
in the late Qing Dynasty this is based on a true story about the
founder of a martial arts school.
Words
can't begin to desribe Jet Li's quality so I won't even try.
