Watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine. As a fan of the Marvel Universe, the continual fleshing out of the characters is great to see on the big screen. It served well to show the whole back story of Logan and where he came from. Also got to see some amazing cameos which showcase the richness of the Marvel Universe. In true House of Ideas style there was great characterisation and some cool action sequences. What people tend to forget is that Marvel's stable of characters began life in simple form and were evolved over decades, by scores of great writers, into the quality we see today. Start simple seems a good bit of advice. I would have liked to have seen how Sabretooth become the shadow of his former self that was shown in the first X-Men movie though. All in all, I enjoyed it and give the film 7 out of 10.

Had a chance to watch Walt Disney's Pinocchio, Bambi and Sleeping Beauty for the first time in full. What amazing creativity! The attention to detail in the animation is plain for the whole world to see and the story is timeless. From the characters to the backgrounds and not forgetting the classic songs including April Showers and When you wish upon a star! A real joy to behold. The behind the scenes documentaries are great viewing and a cool source of motivation to pursue and achieve your goals. Great stuff!
Got the Sunday Times Rich List in my annual pilgrimage to see and learn from the some of the most creative, innovative and successful people around. It's the only time of the year that I actually buy a newspaper. Preferring to get my news online and on the TV. It makes fascinating reading and shows that if you perservere with your goals and dreams you can accomplish anything.
Went to my first fun fair in ages with a friend recently. Benson's Fun Fair in Streatham Common. I'd forgotten how much fun they could be (excuse the pun). Went on a mini rollercoaster, first time for over 10 years I think. It was one of the ones where you get in a car and then keep spinning in a circle. Now I know where the term rollercoaster ride of emotions comes from! As I felt both fear and excitement throughout. A great experience and the next time you see a fun fair near you, check it out!
