So, it's been almost a month now and I've learned a whole lot about story structure, the art and craft of storytelling and great writing in general. I'm still learning of course, as this is a lifelong mission, and I'm amazed at how much I didn't know. The results will be shown in the GrowlerVerse section and my hope is that each successive short story is better than the previous one. I will also be looking into adapting the work into graphic novel format as pictures bring an added dimension to storytelling which is perfectly suited for online viewing. All part of the overall plan to bring you quality content for GrowlersWorld.
The Top 20 most popular parts of the site for July have just been posted! Additionally, the GrowlerVerse section will be slightly revamped as I'm gearing up to produce character based entertainment in the form of original superhero fiction. I'm flexing my writing muscles and learning some new skills, including story structure. This will involve writing first drafts and re-writing until complete. I'll keep you informed of progress.
GrowlersWorld has hit an all time high for the year in terms of unique visits for this month, July. This figure crashed past the 9147 figure of the previous month which was also a high for the year. It shows signs of continuing growth in the site and I will aim to continue that trend. The record all time high is 10262 unique visits which was achieved in August 2007. Look to the Top 20 Site Statistics at the end of the month to see if this record is broken!
