Liang Yan - New Chinese Writer

INDEX

Welcome to my world. My English name is LeAnne.

I come from JiangXi Province in China and am now based in GuangDong Province.

I would like to introduce you to a modern view of China from my unique and personal point of view.

What are the reasons why people don't achieve their dreams?

Everyone has their dreams.

To have dreams means to have hope; in contrast, if you have no dreams you will have no hope and your life will be meaningless and dim.

To the one who wants to be successful, the most important thing is to have a good dream and do your best to make it come true.

But not all people who have good dreams achieve their dreams. Why?

In my opinion, if you want to be successful, hard work is very important, but just working hard will not mean you will be successful. Success is composed of 70% hard work, 10% chance and 10% families support.

Why is working hard so important? Let me tell you.

Now, many people have the chance to accept good education and they have the ability to deal with many situations.

Who will be better will depend on who works the hardest.

Do you know the tale of The Hare And The Tortoise?

If you have a kind of special skill but you don’t like working hard, then the people who just know a little but are not as good at that field as you can beat you, just because of their will and determination.

Therefore you must hone your skill.

Referring to talent, chance and family support, why are they also important to a person who wants to achieve success?

If you are really a strong person and you try your best to do something, if you don’t know methods of solving problems, your efforts will be in vain.

So you must learn how to solve your problems when they happen.

Talent means knowledge.

It is said that, knowledge is power, if you have no knowledge (no talent); you also have no power, so how can you achieve your dreams?

You must increase your knowledge.

Chance is another factor to aid achieving one’s dreams. Today, there are many graduates who have good degrees and good dreams go to big cities to find good jobs.

When they work in companies, the bosses don’t give them the chance to perform to the best of their ability, as they think the graduates are new and have no experience.

So, when the young finally get the experience they have become old and maybe they are not as active or creative.

How can they achieve their dreams? They must be given a chance at an early age.

If a person wants to be successful and he gets some good results, what can occur is that his family doesn’t like what he does and forbid him from continuing it.

This can lead to him separating from his family and doing the thing he likes, on his own.

Others may obey their families’ requests and give up their dreams.

But if the family supports and encourages them, then what will happen is that they will have no pressure.

This is the pressure that would have come from unsupportive relatives. The members of his family will help him when he is in trouble.

Additionally, the man must be confident, if he has no confidence, even when he has a good chance to perform, he will lose that chance, as he doesn’t believe in himself.

When his leader (boss) asks him to do something, he may always think, I can’t manage it, I don’t know how to deal with it, who can help me with it?

After sometime, the leader may have a suspicion that he is not good enough for the job, as the man usually doubts what he has done. The man must be strong.

It means he can’t change his mind frequently, if he does this means he has no perseverance, when something bad happens to him he will give up the thing he wants to do.

So, if you can keep yourself strong in mind, you can achieve your dreams.
