History: Heidi Hadaver was carrying out an experiment dubbed the Big Bang Protocols using a miniature version of the Large Hadron Collider to try and find the Higgs Boson sub-atomic particle. A shock accident caused it to explode bathing her in sub-atomic energy. This altered her body giving her amazing abilities. StarBright is born! Her lab partner and boyfriend was also affected by the explosion and tragically disfigured. How does she handle her new powers? Can she halt the rampage of the newly emerged Blue Spectre?!

Powers and Abilities: StarBright is able to internally manifest and project incredible amounts of light in the electromagnetic spectrum which also give her the power of flight. She can control its direction, frequency, amplitude and duration. She can fly at super sonic speed thus capable of breaking the speed of sound.

She can generate coherent (solid) light rays in the form of laser beams from her hands and can create a full body force field. [Laser = Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation]. StarBright can also generate non-coherent light, via a full body burst, which has a dazzling and disorientating effect. This form of electromagnetic energy was previously unknown and now called Red Stellar Energy due to its colour and similarity to known cosmic energy.
