Welcome to the GrowlersWorld Universe. Or 'The GrowlerVerse' for short. The GrowlersWorld Universe is a kind of virtual creative laboratory where I visualize all manner of ideas. Transforming them from imaginative concepts into reality. Featuring action adventure, supernatural, sci-fi and fantasy elements.

All wrapped around superhero fiction, anime and wuxia storytelling and my own original designs. Pioneering and developing innovative superhero concepts. You'll find great characters, great stories and great visuals! Inspired by my love of superhero comic books it aims to showcase the Fantastic among the Ordinary!

Thumbnails. This is my first comic strip, of sorts, featuring my superhero team, The Eight. It's a very rough, unpolished creation which shows me getting to grips with the Manga Studio, comic book drawing, software program. I just decided to let creativity flow unfettered. Superhero comic book storytelling is primarily a perfect meld of dramatic words and pictures.

One thing I've come to realise is that most comic book artwork basically involves drawing the human body, over and over again, in various poses. Mainly action poses. So the figures you see below are very untypical and pedestrian. You'll also notice the bodies are out of proportion.

I need to practise more on sketching the basic body shape until its second nature. Most of the best artists in the business already do this. Costumes are also still being tweaked. Over time I'll develop my drawing "voice". But for now, enjoy the ride as The GrowlerVerse continues in development... ;)
