Transforming them from imaginative concepts into reality. Featuring action adventure, supernatural, sci-fi and fantasy elements.

All wrapped around superhero fiction, anime and wuxia storytelling and my own original designs. Pioneering and developing innovative superhero concepts. Welcome to this behind the scenes, magical mystery tour of how I created my first ever comic book strip, The Eight. Inspired by numerous comic book artists over the past twenty years I finally took the plunge and dove in head first!

Artists like John Buscema, Jack Kirby, John Byrne, John Romita Jr and George Perez really set my imagination on fire with their amazing renditions of superheroes in action. What you see here are called 'Roughs'. These are where you layout the page and put the characters in the positions you want them. The more dramatic the action pose, the better!
